Footwear—Test methods for outsoles—Tear strength (English Version)
Key dimensions | GB/T3903.12-2005 | GB/T3903.12-2021 |
---|---|---|
Scope of application | No special instructions are specified | Added the statement of applicability of outsoles of all materials |
Definition of terms | Simple definition of median | Improve the median calculation rules for odd/even samples |
Equipment requirements | Citing ISO75001 | Replacing GB/T16825.1 (equivalent to ISO75001) |
The standard clearly defines three types of specimens: S2 (double original skin), S1 (single original skin), S0 (no original skin). For polymer outsole, the recommended thickness is 2.0mm±0.2mm, and for foam material, the recommended thickness is 4.0mm±0.2mm.
Different algorithms are used according to the number of peaks:
Method A (<5 peaks): take the median of all peaks
Method B (5-20 peaks): take the median of the peaks in the middle 80% range
It is necessary to be equipped with a tensile testing machine and special trouser-shaped specimen mold, the mold size tolerance should be controlled within ±0.1mm.
When the specimen length is insufficient, it is recommended to clearly stipulate the test plan in the purchase contract and indicate the actual specimen size in the report.
Compared with ISO20872:2018, my country's standard adds:
1) Specimen type identification requirements (S0/S1/S2)
2) Negotiation mechanism for special size specimens
3) Environmental adjustment cites GB/T22049 instead of ISO18454
